Cartagena Port of Cultures wants to contribute to boost the festivities of Carthaginians and Romans in the year of hope. In this way, all those festival-goers who wish to visit the interpretation centres and are dressed in period costume will be able to enter all the museums and archaeological sites managed by Puerto de Culturas, without having to pay an entrance fee, from 17 to 24 September. All Cartagena residents and visitors will also be able to visit the Roman Theatre, the Museum of the Roman Forum Windlass, the House of Fortune, the Augusteum, the Punic Wall, the Christmas Fort, the Castle of the Conception and the Civil War Shelters free of charge from Friday 24th September.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES
After the success of the activities organised by Cartagena Port of Cultures during the summer, they will continue to be of great importance during the month of September. One of the most popular activities will be the dramatised night-time visit ‘Galba, Nero’s enemy’, which will take place on Thursday 23 September at nine o’clock in the evening. Likewise, during the first fortnight of September the guided tours will continue. Of course, the night visits to the Roman Theatre Museum will also continue every Saturday in September.
Tickets can be purchased online through the Cartagena Puerto de Culturas website and in person at the museums and interpretation centres managed by the company.
