The Councillor for Public Safety, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has detailed that «during the weekends this interruption will occur from 13 hours, while on 23 and 24 September will not be allowed to circulate from 15 hours, establishing alternative routes for traffic».
The Councillor for Public Safety of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported that on the occasion of the celebration of the Fair 2021, traffic will be cut in different streets of the town to allow the development of scheduled activities.
The councillor for Public Safety has detailed that «traffic interruptions will take place on Saturdays 18 and 25, and Sundays 19 and 26 September, from 13 hours, while on Thursday, September 23 and Friday, 24, will be from 15 hours».
José Luis Ruiz Guillén has indicated that «traffic will be closed on Lope Gisbert street, from Floridablanca street, part of Príncipe Alfonso street to Poeta Carlos Mellado, as well as Álamo and Presbítero Emilio García streets».
Ruiz Guillén has pointed out that «those vehicles destined for loading and unloading, users of fords and vehicles going to the public car park in Plaza Colón, and the historic centre, will be allowed to enter through the streets Puente La Alberca, Santo Domingo, Juan de Toledo, Leonés, Rubira, ( C/. General Eytier, C/. Granero, Parking Lorca Centro, changed direction of traffic) Calle Fernando El Santo, Alfonso X El Sabio, Nogalte, Cuesta San Francisco, Parking Plaza Colón, part of Calle Príncipe Alfonso, Calle Santa Paula, Ovalo in all directions, or by Avenida Juan Carlos I, including city buses».
In addition, there will be alternative routes for all vehicles longer than 6 meters that have to travel through our city on this day, except city buses, will be towards access to Lorca or exit from all directions, Avda. Fuerzas Armadas, Avda. Paso Encarnado, Avda. Europa, Avda. Santa Clara, Calle Poeta Para Vico, Avda. alcalde José Antonio Gallego López, Avda. Alcalde José López Fuentes, Ronda Sur, Ctra. Hospital Rafael Méndez, Autovía A-7, or vice versa.
The councillor for Public Safety added that «pedestrians are advised to take care to avoid accidents, and we ask for the cooperation of drivers. In addition, the Local Police will be signposting and carrying out alternative detours and routes for vehicle traffic, for the best possible traffic safety in our city».
