“Lichis” and the end of the party with Arco, Guiu Cortés and Mr. Kilombo close the activities of Cooltural Go!

The Cooltural Fest cycle of concerts, called Cooltural Go!, came to an end this weekend with the ‘secret show’ by Lichis and the end of the party yesterday afternoon at Mesón Gitano, with the triple concert by Arco, Guiu Cortés and Mr. Kilombo. Their concert won over the audience, who in this format don’t know who is going to perform until he comes on stage, and who enjoyed this already consolidated side of Lichis, who left behind the rogue rumba of La Cabra Mecánica some time ago to enter into sounds more typical of American singer-songwriters and the most austere rock, as he has shown in the album he has shared with Rubén Pozo.

On Sunday, a farewell concert at Mesón Gitano

The Granada artist Arco and his songs were the stars of the first concert of the Sunday session at the Mesón Gitano. The three concerts were partly attended on a hot summer’s day. La Fianza De Tu Error’ was the beginning of a path that would pass through themes of love for music, such as ‘Una Canción’, to overcoming in ‘Castillo De Naipes’ or, already at the piano, to the emotion of the song for those affected by Alzheimer’s, ‘El Olvido’ or a vibrant ‘Mamá’. The second part of the concert was much more lively because after ‘Quisiera’, it was time to clap along to rumbas with ‘Quiero’ and ‘La Quiero A Morir’, to remember magical moments with ‘Un Día Perfecto’ or to make one of the best declarations of love with ‘Tú Eres Eso’.

With Arco con there is another way of feeling and listening to music. The concert line-up closed with Mr. Kilombo, Miki Ramírez’s personal project, which combines carefully crafted lyrics with catchy melodies and an interactive and energetic staging. The positive tone of Mr. Kilombo’s songs, without shying away from the deepest dramas for the heart and soul in his lyrics, always outlines a halo of light in which to find a way out. Like so many other artists on the circuit, the pandemic caught Mr. Kilombo with a recently released album, the fifth of his solo career after so many years as Macaco’s escort, called ‘Cortocircuitos’.

After ‘Una Canción Nada Más’ came once again one of the classic moments of his concerts, with the viral ‘Sinmigo’, which brought the show to a close after ‘Andaré’, ‘Manglares’ and ‘Reconciliarme Con El Amor’.
