The Mar Menor will have a Scientific Observatory responsible for the permanent monitoring of the state of the ecosystem, which will depend on the Institute for Agricultural Research and Development, IMIDA. To this end, the Governing Council has approved an allocation of one million euros, as announced by the spokesperson of the Executive, Valle Miguélez.

Among other agreements, and coinciding with the World Energy Saving Day, a package of aid for the implementation of self-consumption through renewable energy amounting to 17.5 million euros stands out. As Valle Miguélez explains, these will be aimed at both companies and individuals.
