The spokesperson for the Popular Party of Zurgena, Domingo Trabalón, has welcomed the fact that the Zurgena Town Hall, governed by the socialist Luis Díaz, has rectified its decision to withdraw the Public Employment Offer published in the BOP on 30 August, as requested by the Popular Party on the grounds that it went against the interests of municipal workers.
It was on 2 September last when Trabalón registered a document in Zurgena Town Hall urging the mayor to correct his decision because, he explained, “all the workers in the Town Hall should have the opportunity to apply to keep their jobs, taking into account the needs of each one of them”.
A month and a half later, last Tuesday, the revocation of the Public Employment Offer of the Town Hall was published in the Official Bulletin of the Province, which according to Domingo Trabalón is “good news” for all municipal workers.
The mayor’s decision comes to give reason to the Popular Party whose spokesman has fought from the opposition so that the process is scrupulously respected and no worker is left behind.
“The PP could not allow the public employment offer to be presented without taking into account the situation of the Town Hall workers, many of whom have been carrying out their duties for more than ten years, which is why we took the decision to urge the mayor to rectify the situation and time has proved us right,” said Trabalón.
The PP councillors will continue to work for the benefit of Zurgena and all the residents of Zurgena against a mayor who governs the Town Hall thinking only of his own interests and to stay in his seat.
