In recent weeks, the San Pedro del Pinatar Town Council has removed more than 325 tonnes of rubble, furniture and household items that had been irregularly deposited on plots of land and public roads.
The councils of the Environment and Community Services report that they are working in a “coordinated” way to prevent and clean up these irregular “dumps” and call on the “civic conscience of citizens”, who can dispose of this waste through the services provided, such as the collection of household items and the municipal Ecopark.
The Town Council is calling on residents to keep the municipality clean and reminds them that to dispose of bulky waste (furniture, electrical appliances, pruning waste, etc.), they should call 868064533, of the Solid Urban Waste Collection Service.
The interested party will place the waste according to the indications of the collection service on the indicated day, providing the relevant data to be able to carry out the collection.
In addition, residents can make use of the municipal ecopark, located in the Las Beatas industrial estate, where they can deposit materials that do not fit in the traditional containers from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 13:30 hours and from 16:00 to 18:00 hours, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:30 hours.
