The Villa de Fines women’s team achieved a hard-fought victory over Federico García Lorca de Vícar by 3-2 in the second match of the provincial women’s futsal championship.
A match that was defined by the quality of the local players, who only in the second half managed to overcome the resistance of goalkeeper Laura, one of the stars of the match.
In the 13th minute of the first half, Daniela gave the visitors the lead and in the 18th minute Silvia made it 0-2, the result with which they went to the break.
The home team, with coach Francis Cano back in the team, came out for the win in the remaining 20 minutes.
It was Reme, who pulled one back after collecting a rebound from Karen in the 8th minute of the second half.
Karen, one of this year’s new signings, was rewarded for her persistence, and in the 13th minute she dribbled past the keeper and converted at will. It was 2-2.
