The two million people vaccinated with Janssen throughout Spain are called from today to receive a second dose from Pfizer or Moderna.
In the Region of Murcia there are about 66,000 people inoculated with Janssen who will have to go to receive the second dose. In order to find some of the people who received the first dose, the role of NGOs and social services will be fundamental, as they are part of groups that are not always easy to locate.
In fact, different NGOs and fruit and vegetable companies are being contacted in the Region to collaborate, and people who find it difficult to reach the vaccination points will have Saturdays to do so. In addition to SMS, information about the vaccination process will be provided through social networks and the media.
On the other hand, the Region of Murcia yesterday registered a total of 77 new cases of coronavirus. This is 105 cases less than the previous day in a day in which no deaths have been reported due to the virus, as reported by the Ministry of Health.
This makes four consecutive days without deaths in the Region of Murcia as a result of the coronavirus.
In terms of territorial distribution, of the 77 positives, 17 correspond to Murcia; 14 to Cartagena; 11 to Mazarrón; 6 to Torre Pacheco and 4 to Yecla, Fuente Álamo, Totana and Jumilla. The rest are distributed among different municipalities.
