Rainfall is widespread and intense with more than 50 litres in Pinar Hermoso, Mula and Caravaca and more than 20 litres in many parts of the region.
Widespread rain throughout the region has led to the suspension of various events. In the capital, Murcia City Council has postponed until tomorrow, Sunday, the reading of the Manifesto for Children’s Rights, which will take place at 12 noon on Gran Vía. In addition, there will be set up several booths of associations and entities of the municipality working on projects related to children and adolescents.
In Lorca, the parade parade of San Clemente was scheduled for this Saturday, but due to the rain it has been moved to next Tuesday, a local holiday. It will take place in the afternoon, after mass in the church of San Patricio.
The rains have left, so far, 65 litres per square metre in Lorca, 52 in Caravaca and Pinar Hermoso in Mula and more than 20 in many parts of the Region.
