The Escuela del Mármol de Fines, a training centre attached to the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE), participated between 16 and 18 November in the first International Training Fair held in Madrid, which brought together more than 70 public and private entities related to training activities, and which was organised by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) and the State Foundation for Training, Fundae.
The school, which is also a National Reference Centre for Vocational Training for Employment in the family of Extractive Industries, has been present at this event within the stand of the SAE, together with the other ten Training Schools of the Andalusian Employment Service, including three other National Reference Centres. At this stand, the activity of these training centres was presented, as well as sharing experiences and good practices and making contacts with other organisations participating in this meeting and visitors.
Specifically, the Escuela del Mármol de Fines has shown its current training programme 2021-2023, which includes eight actions -seven itineraries of various specialities and a course of teaching of the FPE- of which four have already been launched. The programme totals 3,910 teaching hours, including work experience in companies, and is aimed at 120 unemployed people. This training responds to the needs of natural stone companies and the occupations most in demand in the sector. The centre will soon begin to offer FPE for employed workers and training actions associated with training and apprenticeship contracts.
In parallel to the show, a specialised congress was held, designed around three thematic axes: training as a lever for transformation, talent development and social dialogue, as well as a seminar in which representatives of all the employment services that make up the National Employment System participated, with the aim of exchanging information on technological modernisation projects in the field of employment, such as intermediation, training, detection of training needs, among others.
