The PP in Arboleas elects a new executive

David Prados affirms that his team has “enthusiasm and projects” for the municipality.

The Partido Popular de Almería continues to renew its Local Boards and the last one to be held was in the town of Arboleas where the Local Congress took place in which David Prados was unanimously elected as president of the party.

It is a Local Board made up mostly of young people who have a “great enthusiasm” to get Arboleas out of the stagnation in which it has found itself for a long time, a situation they hope to change in the next municipal elections so that the Town Hall will be governed by the Partido Popular.

David Prados has stated that his Junta Local is made up of ordinary citizens who want to put an end to the problems that exist in Arboleas after 30 years of socialism.

“The town is abandoned, its parks are not looked after, there are no street cleaning services, there are neighbourhoods with no street lighting and the streets are not asphalted despite the fact that the residents pay taxes. We also need to increase the number of local police because we have gone from four to one, and there are more politicians getting paid than police officers in the town”, he explained.

The new local president has also criticised the lack of transparency in terms of public accounts and pointed out that the PP’s objective is to control and spend the money of all residents properly, always thinking about the welfare of the people of Arbole, as well as to end the discrimination that currently prevails in the town.

“We all have to row in the same direction and I ask for your help so that our project becomes a reality and we can transform our town. We want Arboleas to grow and for young people to be able to stay and live here”, he stressed.

At the Congress, the new president was accompanied by the Deputy Secretary for Participation and Transparency of the PP of Almería and Delegate of the Andalusian Government in Almería, Maribel Sánchez, the Mayor of Alcóntar, Antonio Ramón Salas, the Mayor of Huércal-Overa, Domingo Fernández, the spokesman of the PP of Zurgena, Domingo Trabalón and PP councillors in municipalities of the Almanzora.

They all thanked David Prados for the step forward he has taken to try to make Arboleas the municipality that the residents want it to be.

Maribel Sánchez highlighted the “enthusiasm” of the new team formed by David, people who want to transform their municipality and who can achieve it with hard work and effort as has been achieved in municipalities where the PSOE has always governed and as has also been achieved in the Junta de Andalucía.

The new president of the Arbolean PP was surrounded by regional and provincial leaders.

In this sense, the deputy secretary of the PP has recalled the great transformation that is taking place in the region since the Government of Change arrived in Andalusia. Maribel Sánchez stated that “Almería has always been discriminated against by the socialist governments and now, with the Partido Popular, the Almanzora motorway will finally be a reality, important improvements have been made to the hospital of reference in the area, La Inmaculada, and legal certainty has been given with laws such as the LISTA, which will bring more investment to our land”.

In addition, he also referred to the three tax cuts that the Government of Juanma Moreno has carried out and how, as soon as he arrived at the Junta, he subsidised the Inheritance and Gift Tax, as he had promised in the election campaign.

“Almeria and Andalusia are progressing with a PP government and Arboleas needs this change now more than ever. I am convinced that with David and all his team they will achieve it. They have enthusiasm, a desire to work and to improve their town, and with the help of all of you they are going to achieve it”, he concluded.

Finally, both the Mayor of Alcóntar, Antonio Ramón Salas, and the Mayor of Huércal-Overa, Domingo Fernández, pointed out that young people like those who make up the PP in Arboleas are the main asset of the municipality, and with their enthusiasm they will ensure that the small wave that starts today will end up becoming a tsunami that will bring change to Arboleas.
