Albanchez Town Council has been a beneficiary of the Coopera2 Programme of the Diputación de Almería, a financial assistance aimed at local councils and autonomous local authorities in the province for the financing of projects and actions in services of municipal competence.
The amount granted is €10,000, which has been used to pave the streets of the Municipal Cemetery, part of which was adapted with another grant from the Diputación, and this has been used for streets that were not yet repaired.
Thanks to this grant the Municipal Cemetery has a renewed appearance, as well as having more accessible streets for visitors, as the previous ones were very deteriorated by the passage of time and the roots of the trees.
