112 manages 205 emergencies in the province of Almeria on Christmas Eve

Emergencias 112 Andalucía handled 205 incidents in the province of Almería during Christmas Eve and the early hours of Christmas Day (from 00:00 hours on Friday 24 and 07:00 hours on Saturday 25). This is 17.81% more than in the same period last year, when 174 incidents were handled, according to the service attached to the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Internal Affairs of the Regional Government. The alerts in the province of Almeria represent 5.81% of the 3,523 that the Andalusian Emergency Service has handled in the whole of Andalusia.

Health and public safety assistance

Most of the incidents in the province of Almeria related to health assistance (85) and public safety cases (55), followed by traffic accidents (22), traffic incidents (13). The rest of the coordinated emergencies were due to fires, animal-related incidents, anomalies in basic services, requests for social services, rescue and salvage, among others.

By provinces, Seville has accumulated the most incidents, with a total of 1,170, followed by Malaga (617), Cadiz (480) and Granada (378). At the other extreme, with a quieter Christmas were Cordoba (263), Jaen (212), Almeria (205) and Huelva (198).

As for the count by provincial capitals, a total of 676 warnings have been managed in the Andalusian capital, 243 in Malaga, 142 in Cordoba and 110 in Granada. The Andalusian capitals with the lowest number of emergencies on Christmas Eve were Huelva (76), Almería (56), Jaén (44) and Cádiz (31).
