Murcia Salud website is now open for the population between 50 and 54 years of age to apply to be vaccinated with the third booster dose against the Coronavirus, as announced by the regional president, Fernando López Miras.
López Miras, who made these statements after the inauguration of the remodelling of the Avenida Miguel Ángel Blanco in San Javier, stressed the need to be vaccinated, as active cases in the Region are multiplying. The Region of Murcia yesterday registered a new record number of covid infections with 3,366 new cases, of which 1,123 were in Murcia, and 8 deaths, with a positivity rate of over 20 percent after the 16,446 PCR tests carried out.
The cumulative incidence has also reached a new record at fourteen days with 1,665 cases per hundred thousand inhabitants after 25,163 cases in two weeks, while the AI at seven days has already exceeded one thousand cases (1,009.8) after 15,261 infections in the last seven days.
