The territorial delegate of Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration in Almeria, José Luis Delgado, has informed Partaloa of the grant of 6,411 euros awarded to the Town Council by the Regional Ministry directed by Juan Marín, thanks to which the Consistory has been able to purchase a motor for the main well that supplies water to the residents and thus guarantee the supply.
Delgado met with the mayoress, María Joaquina López, and explained that Partaloa is one of the towns in Almeria that has benefited from the subsidies provided by the Regional Ministry to guarantee public services that are the responsibility of the local councils.
In the case of Partaloa, it requested this aid to purchase a motor for one of the two water wells in the municipality that supply the residents. “Specifically, it is the main well which, thanks to this machinery purchased with the grant, improves its capacity and thus guarantees the supply, putting an end to the intermittent problems that were occurring in the network,” she explained.
During her visit to the municipality, the mayoress showed the delegate the new equipment and thanked the Regional Ministry for the financial assistance provided to be able to afford this purchase.
The territorial head of Local Administration stressed “the commitment of this government, and especially of the vice-president, Juan Marín, to municipalism. We want the mayors of our province to know that we at the Junta de Andalucía are here to listen to their needs and try to help them solve the problems of their neighbours”.
Delgado pointed out that “local councils are the closest administration to citizens and the first to have to deal with their problems, although their resources are limited given the funding problems that local authorities face. That is why institutional collaboration from the Junta de Andalucía is important”.
