The second edition of the ‘Sabores Almería’ Gala will be held this Wednesday, 16th February, in the Auditorio Ciudad de Vera with the brand’s ambassador, David Bisbal, who will present the badges and quality certificates to the 68 new companies that have become part of this great agri-food project.
With this gala, the Almeria Provincial Council of Almeria wants to pay a heartfelt tribute to all the producers, caterers and marketers that make up the province’s gourmet brand, more than 110 in total, who spread Almeria’s agri-food excellence through their creations. All these companies are identified by combining traditional and artisanal character with the most sophisticated innovation and modernity.
The gala will be presented by Antonio Hidalgo and will feature musical performances by Los Happys and Juanjo García from Almeria. The event will also serve to celebrate the great steps that ‘Sabores Almería’ has taken with the help of all its companies since this project was launched in October 2016.
‘Sabores Almería’ allows its member companies to have greater visibility, benefit from different promotional campaigns, attend major national and international gastronomic fairs and forums under the umbrella of the Almeria Provincial Council, open up to new markets and marketing channels and, in short, generate synergies that have resulted in new business opportunities and the creation of wealth and employment in the province.
The Almeria Provincial Councillor for Agri-Food Promotion, María Luisa Cruz, highlighted the importance of this event which “aims to strengthen our union and instil optimism in all the people behind the brands that make ‘Sabores Almería’ one of the best known and most highly valued Spanish gourmet labels”.
In this sense, Cruz added that “our great ambassador David Bisbal will accompany us again at this event, as he did at the first edition of the gala held in Berja in 2019, it is very important because thanks to him the image of ‘Sabores Almería’ and its companies reaches further and is much stronger. Thanks to him the quality of ‘Sabores Almería’ has reached millions of people around the world. We are very grateful to him for his unconditional support”.
David Bisbal has been an ambassador for ‘Sabores Almería’ since 2018. Since that year he has participated in different promotional actions that have boosted the growth and dissemination of ‘Sabores Almería’ in national and international markets. The last one consisted of promoting the brand’s products this Christmas by recording a video in which he prepares a recipe from Almería together with the chef Antonio Gázquez. This Wednesday Bisbal will ratify his support for the companies and entrepreneurs that make up ‘Sabores Almería’.
