It is worth highlighting the great investigative effort carried out by the Guardia Civil agents, to carry out the corresponding reconstructions of the commission of the crimes and to identify, without any doubt, the perpetrators.

This investigation began as a result of two complaints filed with the Guardia Civil, in which the agents were made aware of the commission of two robberies with force in two establishments in the town of Macael, where the perpetrators stole 3 mobile phones, 3 bottles of petrol, carburettors and cash.

The agents begin with the investigation through different technological means, the whereabouts of the mobile phones, giving a positive result as a result of the voice recognition of its bearer. At the same time, another person is identified during a preventive control in the municipality of Huércal Overa who is transporting in the boot of his vehicle 3 bottles of petrol with the same characteristics as those stolen, which are later photographically recognised by the victim of the robbery.

During the course of the investigation, the Guardia Civil agents became aware of the commission of several criminal acts of the same characteristics in the areas of Tíjola, Olula del Río, Purchena and Macael, verifying that one of the establishments had been robbed on up to three occasions.

Through an exhaustive analysis of the images provided by the security cameras of one of the establishments, it can be identified through a small tattoo, that the perpetrator is the same person who was identified as carrying the three bottles of petrol in the boot of his vehicle.

The agents in charge of the investigation were able to successfully link the two people identified and also locate two other people involved in the commission of the crimes, even finding that one of them was also the perpetrator of the theft of Almonds in Puerto Lumbreras (Murcia), as well as other crimes of damage and cashing of forged cheques.
