A diving guidebook compiles 55 itineraries from Cabo Tiñoso to Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas

This type of action not only boosts tourism but also helps to consider these areas as Marine Reserves, ensuring their preservation and regeneration, according to the Regional Minister for Fisheries, Antonio Luengo.

City Council of Cartagena and Galpemur, Local Action Group of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia, give a boost to diving in the Region of Murcia as a tourist attraction, with a diving guide that proposes 55 itineraries from Cabo Tiñoso to Cabo de Palos-Islas Hormigas.

The guide has been produced by the Oceanográfica, with the support of related groups in the coastal area of Cartagena. It has 154 pages translated into English. This type of action not only promotes tourism, but also helps to consider these areas as Marine Reserves, ensuring their preservation and regeneration, according to the Regional Minister for Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment, Antonio Luengo, who highlighted the aims of this initiative.

The mayoress of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, highlighted “the rich historical, cultural, industrial, civil and military heritage that the port city has, as well as another submerged heritage of the first magnitude”.
