Last 18th February we reported on the precautionary measure issued by the Court of Administrative Litigation Nº1 of Almeria, which ordered the City Council of Albox to remove the planters and any other obstacle that obstructs access to the house of the family of Antonio, a 12 year old child who moves in a wheelchair and has a 79 percent disability due to cerebral palsy he suffers from.
The court then requested two things from the Town Hall of Albox; the removal of the planters and any other obstacles obstructing access to the Escritor Diego Granados road and the creation of a parking space reserved for people with reduced mobility in the vicinity of the family’s home.
On the last day before the deadline, the workers moved the planters, but did not remove them, which was clearly requested by the judge. Now, due to the lack of response from the council, on the 21st of March, the Administrative Court Nº1 of Almeria requires the Town Hall of Albox “to comply with the dispositive part of the order dated the 4th of February 2022”, warning that in the event of non-compliance, it must comply with the provisions of article 112, which stipulates that “Once the deadlines for full compliance with the ruling have passed, the judge or court will adopt, after hearing the parties, the necessary measures to ensure the effectiveness of the order”, according to the order, to which Reporters News has had access.
