In the municipality of Oria, in the heart of the Almanzora, the president of the Provincial Council, Javier Aureliano García, accompanied by the deputy for Agri-Food Promotion, María Luisa Cruz, and the mayor of Oria, Marcos Reche, visited the facilities of the Bodega García Gil winery. This production company collaborates in the promotional activities of the gourmet brand of the province ‘Sabores Almería’ and this 2022 marks 21 years since Pedro Antonio García Gil -owner, producer, harvester and winemaker- founded the winery.

One of its wines has received the prestigious Premio Mezquita, an important award that promotes and disseminates wine culture.

The president of the Diputación highlighted the specialisation of this winery which, with only three varieties, stands out for its high and proven quality, with the added value of strengthening its artisan character as harvesters, producers and oenologists.
