Meteorology worsens the forecast for the next two days and establishes an orange warning on the coast for coastal phenomena and waves of 5 to 6 metres.

The weather forecast worsens in the Region of Murcia for Sunday 3 and Monday 4 April. The State Meteorological Agency has placed the entire coast of the Region on yellow alert level in its forecast for Sunday due to winds of force 7. The alert level on the coast becomes orange on Monday 4, when the northwest wind could reach force 8 with waves of 5 to 6 metres.

Also, on the same day, the warning is raised to orange in the northwest of the region, for snowfall that could accumulate 5 cm of snow in 24 hours. The greatest accumulations of snow are expected in the extreme northwest of the region and above 900 metres.

A yellow warning has also been issued in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas for winds of up to 70 km/h which could reach 80 km/h in Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón.
