Cantoria 2017 won again this Sunday at the Los Olivos municipal stadium, 3-0, against Club Deportivo Casabermeja from Málaga, a match corresponding to the 28th matchday of Group 2 of the Andalusian Division of Honour.
The home side’s winning dynamic continues and since the Ricardo Mora-Juanma Sánchez tandem took over the technical direction, the Aurinegros have won all four matches played.
This is the first time this season that the Cantorians have won four games in a row, which puts them in sixth position in the table in the group of teams that aspire to play in the Copa Andalucía.
The home side came out for the game from the first minute; it was Guille Cruz who, after a great combination with Miguel Angel, made it 1-0 in the 7th minute.
After the goal the visitors tried to have more control over the game although the chances kept coming for Cantoria with dangerous approaches to the goal defended by Raúl Ramírez. With the score at 1-0 it was half time.
The start after the break was again intense for the home team and in a strategy move, from a corner, a great header from Raúl from a cross by Guille that went into the top corner; it was the 55th minute and the crowd, who once again carried the team in their arms, began to savour the victory. The changes again took effect to dominate the game in the final part and it was Paco Gómez in a great combination between Abdou and Casas who with a deep pass left Paco Gómez in the 94th minute, alone in front of the goalkeeper to beat him low in what would be the definitive 3-0 on the scoreboard.
Another clean sheet and a week ahead to prepare for next weekend’s game when Cantoria 2017 travel to Nerja for a match against Málaga City who are second in the table with 60 points.
