The AEMET is maintaining a yellow warning all day for snowfall at altitudes above 1,000 metres and strong gusts of wind in Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón.

Since early this morning it has been snowing in the Noroeste area, affecting the districts of Moratalla, El Sabinar and El Calar where the snow is covering roofs. Snow is also falling on the other side of the Revolcadores massif, in the area of Inazares and Los Odres, as described by Juan Sánchez, a local resident.

Snow has also made a weak appearance in Sierra Espuña above 1,000 metres, on the Collado Bermejo, according to AMETSE, the Southeast Meteorological Association.
