The Guardia Civil in a recent investigation, arrested two people in Cuevas del Almanzora as perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, after approaching their victim when leaving a games room to take a haul of 7,500 euros.
This action is part of the investigative work carried out by the Guardia Civil of Almeria for the clarification and prosecution of crimes committed against property throughout the province.
The investigation recently carried out by the Guardia Civil, began as a result of having knowledge that a person, when leaving a games room in the municipality of Cuevas del Almanzora, was approached from behind by two individuals who hit him on the head and held him by the neck (lion killer method) until he fell to the ground.
The victim informs the agents that she has won several prizes in two games arcades and that the perpetrators robbed her of 7,500 euros.
The agents in charge of the investigation focus on identifying the perpetrators of the acts, successfully doing so after making use of different technological means and collecting all available evidence, as well as conducting numerous interviews with possible witnesses.
As a result of this investigation, the Guardia Civil of Almeria, arrested two people, brothers, as perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, after approaching the victim using the “lion killer” method and robbing him of 7,500 euros.
The proceedings conducted by the Guardia Civil, along with the detainees, have been placed at the disposal of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 3 of Vera, which decrees the immediate imprisonment without bail of the perpetrators.
