‘Sabores Almería’ continues with its firm commitment to promote its excellence at the most important and prestigious gastronomic fairs in the world. From 4 to 7 April, in Alimentaria, Barcelona, 16 companies of the gourmet brand of the Provincial Council of Almeria show professionals and the general public the quality, innovation and creativity of their products.
The ‘Sabores Almería’ companies are attending this important event, where the pulse of the latest trends in the sector is taken at national and international level, under the umbrella of the Provincial Council, which has set up an attractive 132 square metre stand for them to showcase their products and establish contacts and professional meetings that will enable them to continue growing and disseminating the quality that is manufactured in the province.
This morning, at the Fira de Barcelona, in Hall 1, where the ‘Sabores Almería’ stand is located in the new edition of ‘Alimentaria’, the International Food, Beverages and Food Service Exhibition, the Deputy for Agri-Food Promotion, María Luisa Cruz, inaugurated, together with the entrepreneurs of the brand, the Almeria exhibition space where, among other personalities, the President of the Diputación de Ávila, Carlos García González, who showed great interest in the Almeria proposal, was present.
“We are very happy to be at Alimentaria in Barcelona for the second time in our history. It is proof that, at last, normality is returning to the sector, which is seeing these important gastronomic forums being held once again. We come with the enthusiasm and confidence to continue making great strides with ‘Sabores Almería’, consolidating the brand, consolidating markets and opening new marketing channels,” said Cruz at the inauguration after visiting all the companies.
In this sense, the deputy explained that, as in the last events to which we have travelled, ‘Salón Gourmets’ or ‘Madrid Fusión’, “in Alimentaria we are also going to leave our mark. Our stand is the perfect place for visitors to come and meet us, and for them to enjoy the experience of enjoying the province’s products with all five senses.
Finally, the deputy highlighted that these promotional actions of ‘Sabores Almería’ promoted by Diputación give the possibility to the companies of the brand to “develop and implement their internationalisation, one of the main objectives in which we are immersed. 2022 is the year of recovery and also the year of consolidation of the international leap of ‘Sabores Almería’, said María Luisa.
All the regions represented
All the regions of the province are represented during these days at Alimentaria through a wide variety of products and sectors. Visitors to the Fira de Barcelona will be able to sample delicacies such as ham, sausages, meat, oil, gazpacho, fruit and vegetables, preserves, cheeses, sweets…
This edition of ‘Sabores Almería’ will feature the Almanzora region and ham with Peña Cruz, Jamones Segura, Jamones Checa, Los Remedios, Pedro Castaño, Seronés Artesano and Tío Emilio, as well as brands from five other regions with a wide variety of products: Oro del Desierto oil, Los Filabres livestock cooperative, Industrias Cárnicas Diego Molina, Biosabor, Conservas Biosun Mediterranean, Miel Sierra Los Filabres, Casi and Productos artesanales Guada.
Other companies from ‘Sabores Almería’, which are located in other exhibition spaces at this gastronomic event, also attended Alimentaria. This is the case with Vicasol, UMAI and Lorusso, and La Unión, which is attending with a commercial delegation.
