A Guardia Civil officer helps a couple to give birth to their child at the Los Belones roundabout
Both mother and newborn are in perfect condition.

A Guardia Civil officer has helped a 34-year-old woman give birth at the Los Belones roundabout in Cartagena. . She was in the official car on her way to La Manga when she received a phone call. He stopped in front of the Vivero to answer it and from there: “a car stopped at my height and a very nervous man asked me if I could help him because his wife was going to stop. While I called 112 to deliver the baby, her husband, to whom we should pay tribute, followed the instructions and brought Hugo into the world”.

When the medical teams arrived at the scene, the woman had already given birth. The EMTs attended to the mother and the newborn at the scene. Both were taken to the Hospital General Universitario Santa Lucía in Cartagena, where both mother and newborn are in perfect condition.
