A 74-year-old man died on Tuesday after crashing the vehicle he was driving into the guardrail of the RM-3 motorway in the direction of Mazarrón, at the exit of ‘El Saladillo’, in the municipality of Mazarrón (Murcia).
As reported by sources of the Emergency Coordination Centre 1-1-2 Region of Murcia in a statement, several calls alerted that a vehicle was swerving while driving on the highway until, finally, has hit the guardrail of the road.
The following members of the Guardia Civil, the local police of Mazarrón Town Council and an ambulance from the Gerencia de Urgencias y Emergencias Sanitarias 061 (a Mobile Emergency Unit) were sent to the scene of the accident.
The medical staff on the scene confirmed that the driver, a 74-year-old man, had died.
