The territorial delegate for Health and Families, Juan de la Cruz Belmonte, visited the Macael Health Centre.
The provincial health official emphasised the excellent functioning of this centre, which was inaugurated last November with an investment of 1.9 million euros and is located on a 2,053 metre site. On the site there is a building that has been completely refurbished and a new one built next to it. Among the services available at the centre are the new emergency services.
It is a 1,600 square metre building that has tripled the previous space and also has a nursing area, a dental area and new spaces for minor surgery. It has also been fitted out with a Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy service with a Rehabilitation room, Electrotherapy room, changing rooms and toilets for patients and professionals. It also has a total of five family medicine consulting rooms and another for paediatrics, as well as an X-ray room and a meeting room.
