The territorial delegate for Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration in Almería, José Luis Delgado, visited Albánchez today, at the request of the mayor, Amador López, to find out about the damage caused by the recent torrential rains in the municipality, which has led to the collapse of the road surface on some roads and streets. Delgado informed the councillor that the deadline for local councils to apply for aid of up to 120,000 euros to repair infrastructures and public services affected by natural disasters is open until 19 June.
Delgado explained that the total budget for this line of subsidies is 4 million euros and the call for applications was published in the BOJA (https://www.juntadeandalucia.es/boja/2022/74/1) on 20 April.
Each town council can apply for up to 120,000 euros for one or more actions in public infrastructure and equipment such as water supply and purification networks or public lighting, urban roads or access to municipal buildings where services are provided, cemeteries, waste collection and treatment services or fire prevention and extinguishing, public parks, educational, medical or social services centres.
The damage suffered must be the result of natural disasters occurring between 1 January 2021 and 12 June 2022, such as floods, earthquakes, hail or snow storms.
Applications must be submitted to the virtual office of the Regional Ministry of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration via the following link: https://ws072.juntadeandalucia.es/ofvirtual/auth/loginjs?procedimiento=400&conCertificado=1
