Staff from the training centre have joined working groups on entrepreneurship, methodological innovation and digitalisation.

The CRN of Piedra Natural Escuela del Mármol de Fines, a training centre attached to the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE), has participated in a meeting of National Reference Centres (CRN) held in Zaragoza on 5 May around working groups focused on entrepreneurship, methodological innovation and digitisation. The conference, which took place at the CRN for Commercial Logistics and Transport Management, served to detect possible synergies between the participating centres and to address common projects and collaborations.

The meeting was also attended by the Andalusian National Reference Centres for Crafts (Granada) and those for Jewellery and Goldsmithing and Carpentry and Furniture (Cordoba).

Attendance to meetings such as this one is included in the Multiannual Action Plan 2019-2022 of the CRN of Natural Stone, in line with the plans of the rest of the CRNs, which among other strategic lines includes the collaboration with the National Reference Centres in search of an increasingly solid and connected network that advances in the quality of management, efficiency and projection of its activities, making possible the creation of synergies between the centres, the exchange of good practices and successful experiences or the accompaniment to the CRNs of recent qualification or creation. To this end, the centres will actively collaborate in the conferences and meetings that may be established and working groups may be designed to advance in a transversal manner in the functioning of the CRN network as a whole. Three representatives from the Marble School took part in the meeting held in Zaragoza, each in a working group: Modesta Asensio, guidance counsellor, in the entrepreneurship group, whose aim is to provide tools to support new initiatives in the Vocational Training and Employment Training system in the current context; Francisco Javier Martos, head of Studies, in the methodological innovation group, which will provide tools to promote methodological change in the system; and Ricardo Zúñiga, a technician from the Natural Stone CRN.
