The starting signal for the regatta will be given at midday on Thursday 26th May, for more than twenty sailing boats to tackle the 170 miles that separate the port of Cartagena from Sant Antoni de Portmany, to the north of the island of Ibiza.
The more than 125 participating sailors agree that this event is an excellent opportunity to take part in a competition that demands the best of the boats and their crews, with many hours of night sailing and facing all kinds of conditions. This justifies the fact that the regatta is part of the Spanish Offshore Championship Circuit.
After thirty-two editions, the Cartagena-Ibiza Regatta is an emblematic event that usually closes the cruising sailing calendar in Cartagena and brings together the best boats from the Region of Murcia, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands.
