A little over two months ago, Cantoria’s present situation was very different to what it is today. The team could not get a dynamic that would allow them to consolidate their position in the standings to face the matches with more peace of mind. In football, results rule and coach David Cartagena left his post, because he is always the first head to roll.
Then the duo of Ricardo Mora (captain, president and now coach) and Juanma Sanchez, the team’s physical manager, took charge of the team.
With a change of direction or morale, Cantoria began to win and maintained an unbeaten run of nine games.

«From looking down, we started to look up,» confesses goalkeeper Alberto Martínez, interviewed by La Comarca Noticias.
No wonder, from flirting with relegation to being in the Copa Andalucía places. Now the Aurinegros want more, and in the three remaining matches they have to give their all. The stops are not easy. Estepona, top of the table and already promoted, will visit the Campo de Los Olivos this Saturday at 19:00.
«We hope that all the fans will come. We need the three points and we have to win,» says Alberto, aware of what is at stake.
The communion between the fans and the team is total, which is why a full house is expected this Saturday to allow the team to keep dreaming.
The objective of relegation has been achieved, but it is well known that dreaming doesn’t cost anything.
