As every year, with the end of the pastoral year, comes the moment when the changes of priests in the different parishes of the Diocese of Almeria are published.
This year these appointments, made by the Bishop D. Antonio Gómez Cantero, were published. Antonio Gómez Cantero, were published on the 19th of June, affecting many of them to villages and priests of our region. These changes of parish priests are a common occurrence every year and will take place throughout the summer.
This year the changes in the Archpriesthood of Almanzora are:
D. Enrique Cortés Díaz, transfer from Albox to Fiñana.
José Antonio Rodríguez Castaño, transfer from Purchena to Puente del Río and La Curva (Adra).
D. Silverio Sánchez Franco, transfer from Tíjola to Zurgena, Arboleas and Almanzora.
D. Antonio José Villegas Romero, transfer from Zurgena to Albox
D. Cristo José Acien Mayor, transfer from Fondón to Tíjola
D. Antonio Manuel Hernández Belmonte, transfer of Puebla de Vicar to Purchena
