The municipality of Tíjola hosted the presentation of the María Fernández Vega Foundation, named in honour of the mother of the CEO of the group and also President of the Foundation, Juan Manuel Reche Fernández, and which will have national jurisdiction.
Numerous familiar faces were present, including representatives of the various local, provincial, regional and national administrations, as well as friends and family, all of which were entertained by the Sevillian presenter, the comedian Manu Sánchez.
“This Foundation was born from the strong commitment that our company has been developing throughout our long professional career with society and with the most social area of it”, Juanma Reche assured.
“Among its aims are the care and support of people in situations of economic and social vulnerability, and the social and labour integration of people with disabilities and the most vulnerable groups”, he added.
The next project was also presented, an inclusive and intergenerational centre that will be a meeting point, where uniqueness will be recognised within diversity, and which will allow the recovery of customs based on a sustainable way of life, all surrounded by a playful and integrating environment, and which will cover an area of more than 33,000 m2.
The implementation of this project will mean the emergence of new opportunities at both regional and provincial level, making it one of the most exciting projects of the group based in Tíjola.
