Throughout the month of July, the children of Purchena, up to 14 years old, are enjoying the activities organised by the municipal Summer School.
There are 70 children who enjoy these days of various activities monitored by girls and boys from the town, under the supervision of @LaraSport, the company in charge of sports management in the municipality.
The children’s centres are also involved in this summer school, not only as beneficiaries, but some of them, the older ones, are working as monitors.
In terms of organisation, there are four groups, divided by age, to better adapt the activities so that the children can go hiking in the beautiful countryside of the municipality. Walks around the village, bicycle routes, traditional games, paddle tennis, football, track games, handicrafts, collective games, multi-sports and board games, a varied range of leisure and educational activities to make the summer more bearable, to which is added since last Friday, the opening of the municipal swimming pool where the children of the different groups receive introductory swimming lessons.
Undoubtedly, a fun month of July, full of adventures and talking about adventures.
Multi-adventure trip to Cabo de Gata
For next Tuesday 12th July, Purchena Town Council, together with the Almeria Provincial Council and its area Almeria Activa, invites those children born in 2012 or earlier and who are part of the Summer School, to attend a multi-adventure activity in Cabo de Gata: Kayak trip.
A different and active summer.
