The Centro de Referencia Nacional de Piedra Natural Escuela del Mármol de Fines, attached to the Andalusian Employment Service, is participating in a series of working meetings with other NRCs from all over Spain around working groups focused on entrepreneurship, methodological innovation, digitalisation, sustainability and inclusive training and employment, with the aim of detecting possible synergies between the participating centres and addressing common projects and collaborations. In addition, these meetings will allow the participating CRNs to specialise in specific topics and this knowledge can be used by the other centres to improve their training performance and their contribution to the sectors of activity to which they are related. The participation in these meetings is included in the Multiannual Action Plan 2019-2022 of the Natural Stone CRN, in line with the plans of the rest of the CRNs, which among other strategic lines includes the collaboration with the National Reference Centres in search of an increasingly solid and connected network that advances in the quality of management, efficiency and projection of its activities, making possible the creation of synergies between the centres, the exchange of good practices and successful experiences or the accompaniment to the CRNs of recent qualification or creation. To this end, the centres will actively collaborate in the conferences and meetings that may be established and working groups may be designed to advance in a transversal manner in the operation of the CRN network as a whole.
Five CRNs in Andalusia
The Natural Stone CRN is one of the five National Reference Centres in Andalusia. The latest addition to the Andalusian National Reference Centres, last June, was the CRN for Hospitality and Tourism, which is the Andalusian Centre for the Integral Training of the Leisure Industries, better known as CIO Mijas. National Reference Centre is a qualification of the State Public Employment Service, by which certain autonomous public training centres develop an activity of innovation and experimentation in the field of Vocational Training, of sectorial character with national scope, based on the fact that their facilities and trajectory are considered of excellence. These centres act as an institution at the service of vocational training systems to facilitate their competitiveness and quality, and to respond to changes in the demand for qualifications in the productive sectors assigned to them.

The SAE’s network of training schools is made up of 11 centres, 5 of which are National Reference Centres, and they base their programming on specialised professional profiles, with high demand in the sector and adjusted to certificates of professionalism.
