The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has carried out an investigation to clarify the aggression with a knife in Sucina (Murcia), which has culminated in the identification, location and arrest of two young men, as alleged perpetrators of the crime of serious injury.
The events took place last Saturday, 9th July, in the aforementioned district of Murcia, while a music festival was being held and one of the attendees was seriously injured with a knife.
Officers from the Benemérita’s Citizen Security Prevention Unit were alerted to a brawl between three youths and quickly moved to the scene, in this case a square in the town centre of the locality, where the corresponding investigation was initiated to clarify the facts.

Once on the scene, the civil guards verified the facts and began a series of enquiries to gather all possible evidence and, thus, arrest the perpetrators of the aggression.
Apparently, the brawl began verbally, as a result of previous quarrels between the parties involved, and culminated in the stabbing of one of them in the shoulder with a knife while he was covering himself from the blows.
The perpetrators left the scene in a hurry after the stabbing and the victim, despite bleeding profusely, did not wait for the arrival of the medical services and was taken to a hospital to be treated by doctors for the stab wound.
Thanks to the cooperation of the public and the investigations carried out, the civil guards identified the other two participants in the brawl and established the degree of involvement of each of them in the brawl.
Once all the necessary evidence had been obtained, the Guardia Civil set up a search operation for the suspects, which culminated in their location and arrest as alleged perpetrators of the crime of serious injury.
The detainees, together with the proceedings, have been handed over to the competent judicial authorities.
