The campaign ‘There is an Almería in you, yours’, promoted by the Provincial Council.

There is an Almeria in you, yours’ is the slogan of the current campaign to promote the destination ‘Costa de Almeria’ promoted by the Provincial Council. This message, accompanied by spectacular images of some of the most attractive places in the province of Almeria, has conquered public spaces, such as different street furniture supports in streets, metro stations or buses in major cities throughout the country.

In this way, attractive and refreshing images of Almeria, featuring its seabed, virgin beaches or an amazing sunset in the only desert in Europe, break the monotony in the heat wave of cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Murcia, Cadiz, Jaen, Huelva and Granada. The main slogan of the campaign is finished off with the following phrase: “Whatever you are looking for, you will always find an Almería in you. Yours”.

The deputy of Tourism, Fernando Giménez, has valued this action as “fundamental” so that ‘Costa de Almería’ “continues to maintain its leadership as a preferred holiday destination for domestic tourists, an essential target audience for our tourism sector. With this campaign we are addressing a very diverse public and we are sending them a very important message, that every visitor will find a tailor-made plan in the province of Almeria that will meet their expectations”.

In this sense, Giménez recalled that this type of initiative “gives us very good results because its impact on the audience is very effective. They also help us to continue associating the image of ‘Costa de Almería’ with quality tourism. The images of the campaign convey calm, contact with nature, warmth, hospitality and family spirit, to attract a type of tourism that we are able to assume to strengthen our image to the highest excellence”.

Finally, the deputy stressed that all promotional activities promoted by the Diputación de Almería are carried out by listening to the needs and suggestions of the sector’s professionals who, as he pointed out, “are the ones who know best what the sector needs and for this they have the Provincial Tourism Council as an efficient tool to put forward ideas and projects. We are a competitive and attractive destination thanks to the potential of our province and the quality of our tourism sector”.

In addition to the impact on street furniture and urban transport in large cities, the campaign ‘There is an Almeria in you, yours’ reaches a much wider and heterogeneous audience through its presence in provincial, regional and national media such as newspapers, magazines, radio, television and internet. The audience of these media is having access to images, spots and reports highlighting the tourist potential of ‘Costa de Almería’, everything that can be done in summer, as well as discovering the interior or enjoying its varied gastronomy.
