After the appointments in the Governing Council, Almería has 11 senior officials who “will do their best to ensure that Andalusia and our province continue to make progress”.

The president of the Partido Popular of Almería, Javier A. García, has highlighted the weight that the province of Almería will have in the new Government of Juanma Moreno after learning today of the appointment of five senior officials from Almería who will form part of the new Andalusian executive. They are Ramón Herrera who will hold the General Secretariat of Universities; Rosalía Espinosa the General Secretariat of Judicial Services; María del Mar Plaza the General Secretariat of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy; Manuel Alías who will hold the position of General Secretary of Agricultural Funds and Rural Development; and Eloisa Cabrera who has been appointed General Director of Housing and Urban Regeneration.

Javier A. García is proud of these appointments because he says “they are fully prepared to carry out these positions that will benefit the Andalusian people and especially the people of Almeria. I thank Juanma Moreno for the relevance given to the province of Almeria in the great team of the Junta. I am sure that they will do very well and will defend the interests of all the people of Almeria and the rest of Andalusia”.

He added that “a new time is opening for Andalusia and for Almería, leaders in which citizens will have a team at their side in the Partido Popular and in the Government of Juanma Moreno, with their feet on the ground, working to provide solutions to the real problems of our province,” he said.

To these appointments must be added those that have already taken place previously, such as the Regional Minister of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, Carmen Crespo; the Regional Minister of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco; the Deputy Regional Minister of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, Sergio Arjona; the General Technical Secretary of the Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training, Alfonso García; the General Technical Secretary of the Regional Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, Rafaela Artacho, and the Manager of the Andalusian Health Service, Diego Vargas.

Javier A. García highlighted the profile of all of them, which combines experience, professionalism, capacity, management and above all the desire to continue transforming a land “in which they believe and to which they are committed” because for the Partido Popular “Andalusia and Almería will always be the priority above any other interest”.
