The Provincial Institution takes multi-adventure activities, schools and health workshops, trails and a test of the Provincial Motocross Circuit in Carboneras to several municipalities.

Almería Provincial Council has planned a weekend with various sporting activities for the whole family. Sport, closely linked to the province, will be present in 16 municipalities and the activities will be water, urban and mountain activities.

On Saturday 13th, the multi-adventure programme will reach Abla with paddle surfing, Turrillas will enjoy a kayak route along the Almeria coast, Lúcar will hold some urban adventure games and Berja will have a route through the Cuevas del Agua (Water Caves). On the same Saturday, the swimming pools of Alcudia, Velefique, Tahal, Castro de Filabres, Benizalón, Senés and Taberno will hold a day of workshops and health schools. In addition, a new date of the Provincial Motocross Circuit will be held in Carboneras and the residents of Alicún will travel to the beach of Los Escullos to do one of the most spectacular trails in the province.

Sunday and Monday there are also sports activities for the municipalities of Líjar, which will travel to the Caves of Sorbas to live a unique experience in Almería, the small town of Benizalón, which holds its traditional festival of games for locals and visitors, and Roquetas de Mar closes the 100 hours with the awards ceremony on Monday 15, from 21.30 hours, in the Plaza de Toros.

The Deputy for Sports and Youth, José Antonio García, has stressed the firm commitment of the Provincial Council for sport in the province and especially in the smaller municipalities: “from the Institution we respond to all the demands made by the municipalities so that no resident of the province is left without sport. We will continue to work to equalise opportunities and improve services that have an impact on the well-being of all Almeria residents”:

In addition, the provincial deputy added that “we put the finishing touch to a sporting bridge with the 100 hours of Roquetas de Mar.
