Last days to sign up for programming numerical control machines at the Escuela del Mármol de Fines
The training centre in Fines is the only one in Spain that offers this vocational training for employment.

Fines, attached to the Andalusian Employment Service, will close next Tuesday 23 August the deadline to apply for registration in the training itinerary of programming and handling of numerical control machines (CNC).

This itinerary, which in Spain is only given by the CRN of Natural Stone, will be developed from October 2022 to April 2023, with 615 teaching hours, and includes qualification in handling loads and training and labour orientation to the students.

To be able to participate in this training action it is necessary to be registered as a non-occupied job seeker in the SAE and to have the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education or equivalent.

On the other hand, the application period for participation in the itinerary of ‘Auxiliary operations in natural stone processing plants and digital skills’ will remain open until 21 September. With 156 places available, it will be taught between November 2022 and March 2023 with a total of 415 teaching hours that include internships in companies and training in basic digital skills and job placement and job search techniques. Students who complete the itinerary will be able to apply for the level 1 certificate of professionalism.

In order to take part in this training action it is necessary to be registered as a non-occupied job seeker in the SAE. No academic qualifications or professional experience is required.

Applications for both itineraries can be submitted telematically through the General Electronic Presentation of the Andalusian Regional Government. The application form is available at https://juntadeandalucia.es/export/drupaljda/002598_A00_V06_00_Solicitud_participaci%C3%B3n_desempleados.pdf . They can also be submitted in person at the Territorial Delegation of Employment, Enterprises and Self-Employment or at other official registers.

Those who belong to the following groups will have a higher score: young people under 30 years of age, women, people with disabilities (for whom one of the 15 places will be reserved), people affected by and victims of terrorism, women victims of gender violence, people at risk of social exclusion, refugees/asylum seekers or returned Andalusian emigrants.

Students are entitled to receive the grants and aid established for unemployed people participating in Vocational Training for Employment training actions for transport, meals, accommodation and reconciliation with the care of children under six years of age or dependent family members, and grants for assistance to people with disabilities and certain groups of unemployed people established by the SAE that require a differentiated action to facilitate their qualification or requalification to enable their participation in specific programmes.
