Unrisen Queen, one of the best European Tribute bands to the legendary British group “Queen” and their singer Freddie Mercury, return to the auditorium of the Almansa Park, after two years of absence due to the pandemic. Previously, they had performed for three consecutive years until 2019 and the group’s intention with this return is to “perpetuate this presence in San Javier”, which is why this year’s concert has been called “U.Q. FEST Mar Menor”.
The charismatic British singer Nigel Burchill “NigElvis”, “the best tribute to Elvis Presley in the UK”, will also perform at the concert on Saturday 27 August, along with other guest artists such as the Canadian, Fauxie Bowie, one of the most renowned David Bowie tributes in the world. Other voices such as the soprano Sara García and Carmen Iglesias, or María Catharina, a rock singer from Holland, will also take to the stage of the auditorium with Unrisen Queen. The group has informed that during the concert there will be performances interspersed with Queen’s legendary songs, along with other undisclosed surprises.
Unrisen Queen has always hung the Sold Out sign in the auditorium of the Parque Almansa in San Javier, with 90 percent of the audience being foreign, especially British, who come to see the band that has been considered “the resurrection of Freddie Mercury’s voice”. Unrisen Queen is formed by singer Rubén Sabater, guitarist Pasku Frutos, Chimi on drums and percussion, Emanuel Menta on piano and keyboards and bassist Frankchesco Di Napoli.
