13:00h. Holy Mass for pilgrims from Vélez Rubio and Chirivel presided over by the Rev. D. Javier Ruiz Pérez, parish priest of La Encarnación in Vélez Rubio and parish administrator of San Isidoro in Chirivel.
14:00h. Blessing of the memorial tablet commemorating the extraordinary visit of the sacred image to Vélez-Rubio and Chirivel.
QUESTIONS
We ask for the understanding of all pilgrims with regard to the signposting and guidance of the volunteers at the Sanctuary, as well as sensitivity towards everyone due to the health situation we are still experiencing.
The opening and closing times must be respected in order to be able to prepare the Sanctuary properly and offer a better welcome.
Pilgrims are asked to think about the offerings they wish to bring to Our Lady. The Sanctuary is in the process of restoration and, before giving flowers or candles, we appeal for financial donations to help in this task and the organisation of its services.
Let us give the Pequeñica the offering that she needs and that will last longer.
During all the celebrations pilgrims will be able to offer suffrages for their deceased, with the exception of the solemn Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday 8th September.
PLENARY INDULGENCE
We remind all pilgrims that, under the usual conditions, they may obtain a Plenary Indulgence for themselves or for a deceased person during the Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lady. We therefore invite you to pray for the person and intentions of the Holy Father Francis.
