Before the Governing Council of the Andalusian Government, it was an open secret that three neighbors of the Almanzora region, Francisco Bellido from Olula del Río, Carmen Navarro and Guillermo Casquet from Macael, would occupy the title of as many delegations.
After the appointments and now officially, the three Almanzoríes mentioned, Antonio Mena is added, although he was born in Torredelcampo, Jaén, he has lived for many years in the municipality of Albox.
Mena has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Cordoba. After working in the private sector as a veterinarian in farms linked to the pig sector in the province of Almeria, in 2003 he became a civil servant in the Senior Veterinary Corps of the Administration of the Andalusian Regional Government. He has held various positions, among which stands out the Direction of the Regional Agricultural Office of Alto Almanzora in Albox and since 2015 he had been serving as head of Rural Promotion Service in the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of Almeria.
