Villa de Albox beat Poli Ejido 3-2 at home this Sunday in the second round of the Andalusian First Division, Group 4.
The match started with a surge from the home team, who took the lead in the early stages of the game with a goal from Mario Reche (‘7) from the penalty spot, a move preceded by the sending off of Rubén Lirola (‘6) who saved a goal that had been saved with his hand under the sticks.
With the game under control, Miguel Estévez’s side continued to create dangerous chances in the opposition half, until the second goal was scored by Mario Carmona (’24), again from the penalty spot after a great play that he himself had played a key role in.
Carmona also scored the home team’s third goal with a great header from a measured corner kick by Ventura. It was the 53rd minute and the Albojenses were leading 3-0.
With the result in their favour, the home side eased off the pressure, which helped the Poniente side to tighten the score. Kourouma in the 72nd minute made it 3-1 and Oussama Mouiz made it 3-2 in the 82nd minute.
