Olula has bid farewell to its 2022 Fair with a successful participation after the decision of the Government Team to move the midday and evening fair to the Avenue, with the consequent effort to organise everything in the main artery of the town, a month full of cultural, sporting and leisure activities.
The Town Hall has continued with its commitment to the fair for the elderly in the local headquarters with a great participation of the neighbours.
Every effort has its reward and no doubt this 2022 will remain in everyone’s memory in what RRSS have come to define as a real «emotional hangover» after one of the best fairs in recent decades.
The local administration is committed to continuing with the fair in this location, as well as to improving possible errors and promoting even more local activity in the municipality.

The town has experienced a few frenetic days of reunions after two years in which the main festivities have not been held because of COVID-19.
Businesses and catering establishments have experienced a true month of August in the middle of September; bars and cafés have occupied the public thoroughfare these days to serve residents and visitors, as well as an increase in sales in shops, hairdressers, beauticians and other local businesses, in addition to the influx of people at children’s and young people’s attractions.
The night in the traditional Plaza de la Paloma was reminiscent of the verbenas of yesteryear, with Los Rebujitos, Apache, Triana, Orquesta Maxims, Alma Joven, Dejávu, performing for all to enjoy.
