Young people from Olula are trained in web creation and internet administration
The students received their diplomas from the Delegate for Employment and the Mayor of Olula del Río.

The territorial delegate of Employment, Enterprise and Autonomous Work, Amós García Hueso, and the mayor of Olula del Río, Antonio Martínez Pascual, have delivered to the 15 students of the Employment and Training project ‘Confección y publicación de páginas web’ developed by the Olula del Río town council the certificates of completion of the training in the first of the two specialities included in this project, one of the two that the council is executing and that allow training in alternation with professional practices to 30 unemployed people. The two initiatives add up to an investment of 437,986 euros by the Regional Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Autonomous Work within the framework of the Employment and Training programme, which in the province represents a total investment of 3,344,640 euros by the Junta to support the 9 projects approved for the town councils of Almería, Arboleas, Cuevas del Almanzora, Roquetas de Mar, Olula del Río and Vélez-Blanco and the Almeria Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities, FAAM. In this sense, Amós García emphasised that “the solid theoretical training added to the experience of professional practices, during a whole year and in training specialities that respond to the needs of the companies, provide a greater guarantee of insertion to the people participating in the Employment and Training projects”. García Hueso also stressed that this training “promotes self-employment, as it opens the door for students to create their own business by offering these growing services related to new technologies, and facilitates the settlement of young people and the population in the municipality”.

The Employment and Training project of the speciality of ‘Confection and publication of web pages’ totals 480 hours of training and has 15 students, unemployed and young people under 30 years of age, who will be able to obtain a level 2 certificate of professionalism.
