
The Gastronomic Products Fair of Suflí and its Region, this Sunday made its second edition with a large number of people who visited the stalls with local products throughout the day, took the opportunity to have a beer or sang and danced with the Guachineis in the Midday Fair.
Eleven companies from the area and a Master Class of cooking by José Juan Gallardo, chef of the Restaurant El Polígono de Tíjola, made the meeting the ideal place to get together, taste typical products, have fun and why not, strengthen the traditions.
The mayor of Suflí, Raúl Guirao, has described the second edition of the fair as «a great success» and promises to go even further next year in its third edition.

Initiatives like these are necessary in inland villages, when the term «depopulation» is in vogue. It is necessary to have initiatives and to be brave in order to carry them out. In this sense, Suflí is committed to highlighting its gastronomy, one of the signs of distinction of the municipality.
