The Provincial Council of Almeria and the Andalusian Regional Government have started the payment of the materials necessary to execute 241 works of the Plan for the Promotion of Agrarian Employment (PFEA) in the province of Almeria. The provincial deputy of the PFEA, Matilde Díaz, the territorial delegate of Justice, Local Administration and Public Function in Almería, Carmen Navarro, and the mayoress of Gádor, Lourdes Ramos, have visited the works in one of the 89 municipalities that have already received part of the 2,600,000 euros that will be paid until 31 December.
This total amount is 60% of the amount of the materials – the part corresponding to the year 2022 – which is financed by the Diputación (25%) and the Junta de Andalucía (75%). This week 2,100,000 euros have already been paid and the rest will be paid before the end of the year for all the works started in the province of Almeria.
The provincial deputy of the PFEA has highlighted the importance of a Plan that «generates opportunities, especially in rural areas, and helps to beautify and improve municipal services and infrastructure».

Matilde Díaz also assured that in the next few days, 100% of the work will have begun and the payment of 60% of the amount of the materials that we finance under the agreement signed between the Provincial Council and the Junta de Andalucía will be completed.
