Provincial Council promotes throughout the country ‘La Almería que hay en ti, la tuya’ (The Almería in you, yours)

There is an Almeria in you, yours’ is the slogan of the promotional campaign that the Provincial Council has launched to disseminate throughout Spain the excellent offer of inland tourism destination ‘Costa de Almería’. This promotional action, which starts today, will take the image of the province of Almeria to every corner of the national geography through the media and the Internet.

The slogan of the campaign emphasises the versatility of the ‘Costa de Almería’ destination and shows potential tourists that in the province they will find a specific plan that adapts to the demands of each type of traveller. There is an Almeria in you, yours’ is based on spectacular images of natural environments with complementary messages that extol the experiences that can be lived in a destination «immense, simple and authentic because whatever you are looking for you will always find an Almeria in you».

The Deputy for Tourism, Fernando Giménez, explained that this campaign is the prelude to the great national tourism event that is FITUR: «On the one hand we are going to promote this Christmas season and during the winter the Spanish people can get to know the Almería that hides the interior of the province, and on the other hand we are warming up for FITUR 2023».

In this regard, the deputy recalled that this promotional action reinforces «the work that we have continuously promoted from the Provincial Council in recent years» and has highlighted one of the latest milestones achieved by the Provincial Tourism Service: making it possible to launch a flight in 2023 with Paris: «The French market is one of those who most value nature and inland tourism,» he remarked.

Hay una Almería en ti, la tuya’ will reach all of Spain through provincial, regional and national media such as the written press, magazines, radio, television and internet. The audience of these media will have access to images, spots and reports highlighting the tourist potential of ‘Costa de Almería’, everything that can be done and discovered inland, as well as the natural and gastronomic wealth.

The Provincial Council of Almeria, through the Provincial Tourism Service, has carried out an uninterrupted promotional planning during the 12 months of the year through tourism fairs, aimed at both professionals and the general public, and with the organisation of fam trips as a suggestive tool to show the destination ‘Costa de Almeria’ to specialised agents of the sector such as journalists or travel influencers.

The internationalisation of the destination ‘Costa de Almería’ has continued with actions in fairs all over Europe and with agreements with tour operators to promote the arrival of visitors. Undoubtedly, the big step that has been taken is to promote the arrival of a flight with three frequencies to the French capital in 2023.

The objectives of this initiative of the Provincial Council are:

To reinforce the image of the province of Almeria as a safe tourist destination.
To break seasonality and attract tourists to the province of Almeria beyond the high season.
To promote tourism and the economy of the province by focusing the focus of this campaign on the rural municipalities of Almeria, objectives which in turn seek to combat depopulation and equal opportunities in the 103 municipalities.
To direct the messages to the markets of interest within the provincial, regional and national scope.
To deseasonalise the destination ‘Costa de Almería’ by encouraging the arrival of tourists to our province throughout the year, which contributes to lengthen the holiday period and fight against the overcrowding of the tourist centres.
